Shaving? Help

Ok ladies so TMI, I haven’t shaved during this pregnancy at all. However, I know the time for my little angel is approaching & I want to “clean” things up. What are some tips or ways to get rid of the hair down there. Also, I heard that using a regular shaver can cause infections, is that true? FTM btw.

Just shave my feel, that’s what I do! Takes a bit of practice but it’s much tidier now. Also no, a shaver won’t cause an infection unless it’s very dirty or something..

I just shaved by feel and then I made my hubby hold a mirror so I could see what I missed.

Get a wax or trim with scissors or a trimmer if you’re trying to avoid shaving

I’m personally not a shaver down there... it irritates me so much and makes me super itchy so I try to avoid shaving at all costs! However I didn’t want to go and give birth with a full on bush because I know that could get messy! I literally just got some scissors and trimmed my pubic hairs so they’re as short as I was comfortable going not being able to see which is good enough for me 🤷🏼‍♀️ anyone who sees my vagina giving birth will be more than used to seeing really hairy vaginas, smooth vaginas, and all different kinds of vaginas! They’ll all be concentrating on the baby and how dilated I am than my pubic hair anyway 😂 so yeah I just sat on the toilet and trimmed my pubic hair with some scissors. Just did it slowly so I could get as close to the skin as I could without cutting myself. Did it without being able to see anything haha and I would’ve used a mirror to tidy up but I’m not too bothered tbh so I left it at that!

If you straddle the toilet backwards it helps with not getting tired as easily and with angles. I have my husband come and check each section after I finish since it’s mostly by feel. 
Just make sure you use a brand new razor and throw away after your all done.
