Do I need a post partum belly support belt?

My friend mentioned that I definitely need some kind of post partum belly support belt. Is this really needed? I'm not interested in snapping back to pre pregnancy body, but are there other reasons that this would be a must have?

I didn't have one and I had a csection. I did fine, but am considering it this time since my toddler requires me and I thought that extra support might be nice.

I didn’t have one with my first, but I wish I had. I didn’t know about them  and I felt so wobbly and weak that I ended ended up wearing my mom’s old spanx just to feel ok. They were not ideal. I will try a real one this time!

I never heard of them with my first, so I didn’t use one. I bought one for this baby bc I would have loved the extra support.  After I had my daughter (normal vaginal delivery), my stomach still felt pudgy and like I had no core strength still.

I bought one and used it for a few days. It was so hard to keep strapping myself in every time it shifted or something. Might try it again when I have this baby, but idk. They say to do it because it helps your muscles go back into place.

No one ‘has to’ use one. But they support and align your abdomen. They can also help with floppy and loose skin and provide light compression to help your uterus shrink, so it doesn’t matter if you have a vaginal or c section birth, they can help. 
I used one both times and helped me
