When do you all plan to start potty training?

Just curious... I might start just letting her start getting familiar with the potty... not expectations of her getting trained soon at all... but since I have one... maybe i will just let her explore

Highly recommend the OH CRAP! book for potty training. I think the book states that the ideal age range is between 20 months and 30 months, and not to “introduce” the potty before hand. To each their own, but we have a 21 month girl right now who has been accident free for two weeks now and it took about 5 days to potty train and three more days after that to be totally accident free. Highly recommend OH CRAP!

Just when she shows signs of being ready. I’m imagining this will be at least 2 - 2 1/2. I do know someone who did it at 9 months though so it is possible to do it earlier if you have the time and energy!

Definitely when she is 100% ready...there is no rush! I trying with isla at 18months...i thought she was ready, it was a  ridiculous idea and I tried again a week after her 2nd birthday and she still wasn't quite ready.i tried again at 2years 2months and she only had 1 wee accident the whole time...it was so not stressful. I think if you start before they are completely ready not only it it stressful for you but the stress it puts on the child is too much too 😊 and our babys will be 2 at the start of summer so aria will be spending a lot of time running around in just pants 😂

I tried and tried with my oldest on and off for about a year and he would not even try. Right after he turned 3 he got moved up a class in daycare where all the kids were potty trained. He came home that day and announced he was going to start wearing underwear! He only had very occasional accidents after that, so work this one I'll wait till he shows signs but I really hope to have it done by the time he's 2 and a half.

I had planned for 18 months but I want her in the new house before we start so there isn't too many new things going on.  So she'll be 21 months when we actually start.  I'm buying her a potty chair for Christmas.

My plan was to start around 18 months
BUT...
Little miss just started wearing size 6 diapers and diapers only go to 7. So I may have  to start sooner

Not so much potty training, but I want to start introducing my little guy to the potty once he is walking properly.
I just want him to be familiar with it once he is ready to start properly potty training

Thank you for your comments. I am a FTM so I had no idea how this could be stressful for me or baby. I appreciate your input. It gave me a perspective I had not though about! 👌🏼 I was just wondering when does parents and babies usually start! There is no really rush from my part, plus the least I want is to complicate our lives or put them under stress levels lol ... thank you ladies!
