35+5 spotting

I’m waiting for my doctor to call me back because he’s not in the office today, but has anyone ever had light pink spotting around this time? There was a tiny blood clot with it too. The lady I talked to at my OB office thinks it’s the start of the bloody show, but doesn’t that usually mean labor is near? I’m a first time mom so I don’t know much about it. Everything I learned about bloody show seemed like it would happen much later than this. I’ve had 2 Braxton Hicks contractions today but they weren’t painful and didn’t last long. And baby has been moving as normal. Thanks!
