Feeling selfish

Sorry, this is just a self pity post.

My SIL just called and told me she is pregnant! She is due January 8th (happens to be my husbands birthday). I’m totally excited for them and I’m excited that our kids will be so close in age. I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant. 

After talking to her it just kind of hit me that she is going to get to have some of the pregnancy experiences that the virus took from me. Professional maternity photos, baby shower, etc. I know I shouldn’t be throwing a pity party over something I can’t control. It just made me a little jealous/ sad.

Again, I’m totally happy for her! Just kinda sucks that all of us that are due this Spring haven’t had the chance to do these types of things.
