First Transfer done, can anyone relate?

I just had my transfer completed and I am anxiously awaiting the quality of my embryos. They retrieved 24 and let’s see what their quality is. Can someone share their first time experience? I’m a nervous wreck right now!!

That’s An amazing number!!  So many congratulations!  I also stayed super busy, going on mom  walks with my husband and doing yoga and long calls with friends.  You got this!  The hard part for your body is done and she did amazing!  Now the mind has to do its part and relax and no you did great, you did your part, faith in the process ✨♥️✨

Same question — did you do a transfer or retrieval? For my retrieval, they retrieved 33 eggs, 25 were mature, 21 fertilized, 13 made it to Day5, and 10 came back normal. 
I remember the 5 days waiting for news felt so long! But 24 is a great number!!! How are you feeling? Definitely get some rest and try to find things to distract yourself ♥️ keep us updated!!

Hi Mykah, did you do a transfer this morning or an egg retrieval? For my first egg retrieval they only collected 16 eggs, so 24 is fantastic! The wait during the first week is torture, but you’ll be fine if you just try to distract yourself. Are you also planning to do PGS testing? I think the wait from my pgs was the worst because it took over a month for my results! Right now just try to focus on drinking protein drinks and electrolytes so you heal up quickly. Best of luck!
