Have a 8 month old and I’m 5 weeks pregnant

Mine isn’t. We kept most everything from our first, but my second ended up needing expensive formula and of course took forever to accept solids so he was taking more formula longer than my first did. And I suspect they might recommend speech therapy for him so yay copays. Never know what kind of baby you’ll get.

Will they be in daycare? That’s my biggest expense. I pay roughly $600 per month for child care for my 15 month old. No discounts for siblings at my daycare. I can’t imagine paying $1200 a month for child care!

So far, yes. We kept quite a bit of stuff. Plus we are also having another boy. We also have a rough idea of the stuff we used & stuff we didn’t so we rent buying unnecessary things. We also took a different route as far as buying the nursery furniture this time & saved probably $1000 in that sense compared to my first son. I also have bought a lot of stuff second hand because kids go through things so quickly that it doesn’t get full use & that’s saved a lot.

Depends on what you kept, and can still use. My second was another boy, so we didn't have to buy clothes. I also still had the bouncer and swing, so we didn't need that. And we had more than enough blankets. You will still likely need another crib (although you could probably just use a pack and play until your first is grown out of the crib) you'll need another carseat, diapers for a few more years, food, etc.
