My Birthing Necklace is done! 🤰🏻📿 For my virtual baby shower, I wanted to make something special. I was wondering how the hell we’d make something crafty with an online event 🤔 I originally was going to have guests tie prayer ribbons on a dream catcher. I didn’t want people mailing me more stuff because of COVID reasons. Then I had my aha moment! 💡 . While I was at a gathering in Sedona in 2014 for a mystery school I was attending, I learned how to make paper beads in a sacred way. We painted something meaningful on one side, then wrote our intentions or prayers on the back, and then turned it into paper beads. We strung them into necklaces and they were magical! I made a few more after that for different activities and always loved how much love and intentions went into them. . For my virtual baby shower I had everyone RSVP online on a page I created on my website and added a “blessings” field on the RSVP form. Then took all the blessings and printed them on the back of my Ideal Birth drawing I did for my hypnobirthing class. 🙏🏼 . I went all out, took me about 12hrs to make because embossing the beads took a freaking eternity. You’ll see why in the video. However, it turned out great. I spent extra money on making sure I got sterling silver beads and charms, as well as quartz crystal beads so it could hold more energy and program intensions. . All in all, I highly recommend this activity for anyone who wants to make something sacred and extra special. Please note they’re not waterproof despite the embossing coating.
