There are definitely times when things are difficult but it’s not a him and I issue, it’s occasional issues with family members or from people in public

My issue is with my black community. A LOT of black people don’t like seeing other black people dating outside our race and I could care less tbh. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I think it can be hard if don't have thick skin and if you care what others say. My experience in interracial relationships is that most racists are cowards and won't say anything to your face or will only say something if they think you'll be timid. Let ppl know you won't tolerate their bs, family included. Don't let anything slide and it will be fine.

For me and my husband it’s more because of a language barrier 
Something he doesn’t understand what I mean or he doesn’t know how to say something or he says it the wrong way and gives off a different meaning

I think it depends on where you live and your race(s). In some places, certain combinations of interracial couples are very normalized. Other places and other combinations, not so much. 
For me, my husband and I never faced any hardships when it was just us. We live in a big, diverse and liberal city. Having a baby has brought some new challenges in terms of thinking about the best way to raise my multiracial baby.

Sometimes it’s hard because we were brought up in such different ways. Our communications styles are polar opposites. Our families had very different ways of interacting with us, so blending those has been interesting.. we’ve come a long way in making it happen but sometimes still we have to recognize that’s what’s going on and try to find a way to shift how we go about saying something in the future.

ive been with my boyfriend for 8 months and we haven’t experienced any hardships. it honestly depends on where you live, how your family and friends are, the overall attitude of your country, the types of couples that’s are perceived as the norm. lots of factors contribute. but nonetheless, don’t let that deter you. :)

Sometimes! Like when I met my husbands uncle and he refused to shake my hand because I’m biracial. My husband is white and I’m half white half black.
