Did anyone have low amniotic fluid or calcified placenta?

I would really love to talk to anyone who had these issues during their pregnancy. I had a bad doctor that never explained things and never told me that I was at risk or even had complications until it was too late. I felt so blindsided and robbed of my birthing experience because of it. I want to know my possible risks for a future pregnancy and stuff like that. Any info would help a ton! Thanks!

I gave birth at 42 weeks and had a calcified placenta. I will just get induced sooner next time. Is there something bad about the placenta? I wasn’t told much besides it happens if your baby comes late and all worked out find so I didn’t look into it further

I found out I had grade 3 placenta at 31 weeks , so basically it was very calcified but my doctor did not seemed concerned as there was still good blood flow and I had weekly checks. I delivered at 38 weeks and 1 day ,no NICU. Healthy and happy baby . I think I would've delivery safely even at 40 weeks but my pregnancy was an IVF pregnancy and did not wanna take a risk so I did an elective C section  at 38 weeks .. There was no signs of labour on the day of my delivery, no dilation.

A normal placenta will slowly start to calcify as it ages near the end of pregnancy. Mine started around 36 or 37 weeks and little man was born at 41 weeks healthy as can be.
