I’m scared.

Has anyone gotten pelvic inflammatory disease? I went to the doctor on Friday because I’ve been having pain after sex and a lot of discharge. They said I have PID. I’m looking up on google and it says it can be hard to get pregnant. I want to try for a baby soon but I’m scared if it gets hard since I have PID. Yes I’m taking medication for it and I got a shot on my butt. I’m hoping it will go away. I have the IUD I’m planning to rake it out soon. Someone please tell me if you got it and if it went away for you?
