Don’t get the Ontario governments logic sometimes...

So they just announced today schools aren’t reopening. Which I’m not suprised. But what I don’t get is that theyre starting to open some retail stores, like for clothing etc, which can be done online so why?

They have also opened house keepers and babysitters.. They’re getting ready to start opening child care and day care centers - how is that any different from school? I just don’t get the logic with these “steps” they’re taking.. clothing stores and other non essential businesses opening=more parents needing childcare. Daycare rooms are not gonna be much different then a school classroom..difference with a school classroom is everyone has assigned desks for the most part and sit there and do work, daycares are mostly play. And toddlers put everything in their mouths.

I also dont get how all this stuff can open, we’re allowed to go out and be around strangers, but we’re still advised to not be around family if they don’t live with you...🤔
