gender reveal party ideas

so we haven’t thrown ours just yet but we are preparing. since most pf us are still in quarantine, i wanted to give a few future moms some ideas. especially if you’re easily overwhelmed by pinterest lol. i can be at times.

so we’re doing a dessert theme (outside of course, to best avoid spread of germs). so we’re doing this little ice cream poll. all you need is a poster board, blue and pink paper/scrapbook paper, brown or tan paper (for the little cones at the bottom), writing utensils, and glue or tape. your guest/family will vote for if they want a boy or girl and write it on corresponding ice cream “scoops” then paste it to that side.

in our case, we did this bc you can call/text family and friends to get their votes 🗳 so no worries if they can’t be there due to the virus. ALSO we decided to get pink and blue candy to fit the theme. cookies and creme hershey kisses and pink starburst work! dollar tree has TONS of gender reveal and baby shower decor and such. definitely try looking there. they even have the “boy” “girl” balloons!!!! they also have table clothes, plates, cups, and napkins in almost every color including little pink and baby blue :)

EVERY decor/item i have so far (pictures included) are from dollar tree. we still have a few more things to buy, but some can still be found at dollar stores, including but not limited to cotton candy (blue and pink), M&M’s (for pinterest post below), helium (cost $1 per balloon i believe which is SO much cheaper than buying a $50 helium tank), etc etc. i got picture frames there as well for the ultrasound pics and just placed pink and blue paper behind the photos :)
