PICC line while pregnant???

Question

Anyone had one while they were pregnant so they didn’t starve? My doctor says that’s what we may end up doing if the GI can’t help me since I can only eat toast. Just looking for experiences if anyone has any!!

My best friend had to get a PIC at 15 weeks for the remainder of her pregnancy.. saved her life! She was sooo sick and unable to keep anything down not even water. She would recommend it

It might be best for you. I worked at a cancer center and drew blood and gave chemo through them... I have been very very sick during all 4 of my pregnancies but never offered a picc... I would probably have agreed to it because I was so miserable... during my 3rd pregnancy I lost 15lbs then didn't gain a pound back... have you tried eating junk food? I know it is not the best... but honestly its better than toast... tacobell was my go to... bean burritos with hot sauce lol... try every thing... lemon candy, gingerale... sea bands, preggy pops. Gatorade, hell drink pedialyte... sometimes if you can get something down it will stay down if you go to sleep...I would eat then nap...
