What could be the genders of my twins?

I am 11 weeks pregnant with twins, one of the baby’s heartbeats is 170 and the other 174, mommies what were your twin heartbeats, and what genders were they?? I’m so eager to guess/find out!!

My twins have been all over the board with heartbeats. I am having a boy and girl. Unfortunately I think genders based of heartbeats is an old wives tale. Won’t be long before you should be able to find out! 😊

There is no correlation to heart rate & gender.  It’s fun to think about, but it’s an old wise-tale myth (just like the way your carrying the baby...high vs. low).  First trimester heart rates are usually high around 160-172, then as the baby develops and becomes larger, the heart rate slows down.  In your 2nd & 3rd trimester, a normal HR should be between 120-160.  With any living creature, the smaller the species, the higher the HR.  Look up birds’ HR compared to humans 😊 That’s why as the baby gets bigger, the HR slows down.  Those are all facts...but with me just logically thinking why one twin’s HR might be higher than the other’s is maybe that twin is slightly smaller...?  Again, that last part is just me guessing. Could be either - I know they say girls tend to have higher heart rates but I haven’t really experienced that. A couple of times in late pregnancy I went in to the hospital to be checked and my boy and girl had really similar heart rates so it took ages to make sure both were ok.

I’m 19 weeks with b/g twins.
My boy is always lower, around 132-145 and my girl is always higher, around 160-170.
