Full blown temper tantrum?

Question

Is anyone else going through this with their babies ar this age? All of the sudden, Lou will have a whole tantrum and idk what to do besides let him cry it out. Yesterday it lasted the whole day. He was in a real shit mood and everything pissed him off. Usually he is very sweet and doesn't cry for anything. He wasn't even crying just yelling and flinging his body recklessly around the floor or on me. He is getting so big and I'm 6 months pregnant so I really don't want him throwing his whole body on my tummy like that. 
What are some tips for when he is doing this? I stick to the "no etc." that usually is what set him off to begin with but I let him cry it out. Anything else I can try?
Oh also redirection doesn't always work. Most of the time if I had him a toy he just throws it and continues his fit.

I hear ya! It's normal, but it's so hard! Developmentally toddlers automatically respond with emotion instead of logic like we are able to do. When my guy has a tantrum I label his feelings such as "you feel mad because you wanted to go outside. You're mad". I encourage him to take a deep breath and then take a couple really big breaths myself so he can see it. He is typically still screaming at this point, but I have faith that this will really help him in the long run.
I have also learned that whenever he is upset about not being able to have something or go somewhere, if we say "bye-bye" to it he instantly feels better. It usually goes like this "you want to play with the screwdriver. Bye Bye screwdriver. See you later" and we both wave and it's over lol.

I’m going through the same and I’m 8 months pregnant. I just find an activity that interests him to distract him however it doesn’t always work so following to see if anyone else has any tips

Same here and I’m 7 months pregnant! Mine hates diaper and clothes changes and its so hard to be pregnant and fight him kicking and crying.  He also has tantrums sometimes, I just let him get out his emotions.  I usually squat down to his level run his back and say it’s ok mommy will be right here when your less upset and then give him some space form across the room.  He will usually come to me when he is done all sweet.  Such a sour patch kid! Lol

Yes! I do try to distract and offer other items but currently that doesn’t really work. It’s also worse when he’s tired so I try not to let him get too tired.. other than that I will just kinda move him to a safe spot to cry and kick and move around.

We have been going through the same. Usually it's when we say no he gets really annoyed, sometimes also just wakes up in terrible moods. 
The only thing I've found that works is just ignoring the tantrum, like not paying any attention to it whatsoever and he quickly gets over it and goes back to playing. X
