Still need a full bladder?

Question

Do you still have to drink water and have a full bladder for ultrasound at 29 weeks pregnant?

Nope. But I always avoided going to the bathroom before an appointment in case they made me give a urine sample

They told me to come with a full bladder just incase.  When i got there they took a quick look and then let me go pee and come back to do the rest of the  ultrasound.

Ask before you go. I don't ever have to have a full bladder for my ultrasounds. When I was pregnant with my 1st and 2nd I did but they upgraded their machines and now I don't and I am so thankful!

They say yes but personally I’ve always found it brought my baby too high and I’ve been asked had to use the bathroom to reduce the amount of urine in my bladder.
