My hubby and I just got approved to do IVF. 
We’ve been TCC for 3 years with no luck. 
My husband has low sperm count (500,000) we tried diet, exercise and vitamins and have not had much luck on getting pregnant. Therefore our doctors recommended IVF. 
Any tips for a successful IVF journey?

Ask for ICSI, if possible. Try to be patient and calm - which can be really tough with the additional hormones. Alternate where you inject (left/right side), and use a heating pad to place on the area where you inject the PIO. It’s nice to have one person, outside of your SO to talk to about what you’re experiencing (I didn’t and it was really difficult). Plan 1/2 date nights - it can be intense. Take a prenatal if you haven’t started. If you believe, pray. And keep your hope!
My husband and I had been trying for 5yrs. I have a son from a previous marriage and he doesn’t have kids. I lost 100lbs thinking it would help since all my other tests were fine. We learned that my DH have low/abnormal sperm and low testosterone. He started taking Clomid, per the urologist. Before the Clomi, his sperm ct. was ~11k, after 3mo on Clomid, we tried for IUI. 1st IUI, he sperm was ~9k washed...2nd IUI, he produced ONE GOOD SPERM. We didn’t stand a chance. After much reluctance, I decided to do IVF. The did ICSI to make sure they got a healthy sperm and we found out we were pregnant, the day before Thanksgiving. I’m 29weeks pregnant with a baby girl. Ask about invocell. Me and hubby are starting our journey on the 1st of June. Its alot cheaper and the invocell makes you more closer to you have a baby together.  Its a small device that they put up your twat for a couple of days to get you pregnant and they can automatically inject your hubby's solders into your eggs. My hubby has the same issue and there's a good chance of it succeeding with us due to me being very fertile and my uterus being clean and good to go.
