18weeks3 days scare!

Yesterday I was 18weeks and 3 days, my husband and I went for an easy hike in the morning and around 3pm I went to the bathroom and there was a mix of old and newer looking blood. I panicked, called the OB and they said the doctor would call me back... they never did. Meanwhile I was starting to fill a pad and still there when I wiped so I went into the ER to be seen.

I had no cramping, no pain, just was bleeding... I was so scared that I was going to lose my baby... finally was able to get an ultrasound and she was growing and measured right on track and they couldn’t find anything related to me that could have caused this. Blood work came back normal, no infection, cervix closed... I was put on bed rest for a few days.

Luckily it is just a little spotting today but I’m still so worried. My anatomy scan is next week so hopefully they will be able to give me good news.

Has anyone had a similar experience at this stage? All I can do is rest and wait but that makes my mind wander and worry.
