Is this the hook effect?

So I’m 5 weeks 4 days and what few symptoms I had have pretty much gone away. I took another test and although it’s dark, isn’t quite as dark as the ones I had taken. So I tried diluting the water and the test line is noticeably darker after that! Is this the hook effect?!?

No this is a dye stealer where the test line is pulling from the control line cause your hcg levels are so high. The hook effect is when your test line because lighter and lighter or is negative even tho you are still pregnant
