Toddler milk vs formula?

What is the difference between them? My daughter is almost one and I wanted to know if there was a point in switching to toddler milk.

DO NOT GIVE HER TODDLER FORMULA. Its not healthy, lots of sugar, no nutritional value. Give her whole cows milk. "Toddler formula" is a huge scam. And should not be used or purchased

Hello 👋🏻 My MIL is a lactation consultant (in Australia) and I asked her once about toddler milks and formula. She said it's just basic money making from the companies that produce them. If your one year old or toddler is eating well they don't need any of those supplements, and can just start on cow's milk. I think maybe if your toddler wasn't eating enough or wasn't growing as expected then perhaps a toddler formula may be appropriate, but for most kids, no. Save your money and introduce real milk at age one 😊

Our pediatrician said that formula is more filling and that since they are beginning to eat more actual food, that they need to start filling up on food and not the formula. They will get the same nutritional value in food and milk then they will with formula.

Toddler formula is pricey and milk is like $3 a gallon I guess. May be it’s necessary if needed? Idk I breastfed my toddler so may be formula can be good too if they need extra nutrients
