Membrane Sweep?

Has anyone ever had a successful membrane sweep? They just did mine at my appointment and my doctor said I was already pretty thinned out. I’m not going to hold my breath but just wondering if it’s ever actually worked for anyone?

I got mine done at 37 with my last baby and I had him less than 2 days later ☺️

I had mine at like 39+5 I think and went on a long walk afterwards. Bloody show and cramps within 3 hours, the cramps didn't turn into full contractions until about 34-36 hours after the sweep, my son was born on the 48 hour mark.
I was 2cm when I had my sweep, can't remember how effaced or what station though.
A sweep will work if your body/baby is ready, if not ready it will not induce labour.

Didn’t work for me even at 40+ weeks with my second.  But I’m still going to have it done since I’ve seen that sometimes it works.

With my first I had it done twice. First time didn’t do a thing. Second I had done around noon and went into L&D at about 9p in labor.
