FTM being induced (Due to ICP)

Looking for an advice from first time mummies that’s have been induced at or around 39 weeks. How was your experience? How long did it all take for you?

I’m being induced next week due to ICP and I’m so scared especially when my partner can’t be there with me until I’m in a delivery room :( due to the lockdown things are more difficult and being high risk I have to stay at the hospital till my water breaks.

I’ve heard some horror stories, but would like to know if any of you been through it and how did it go for you? Apparently it’s a very long and painful process for FTM’s and can take ages till anything happens.
