I got my period today, and while I was a bit disappointed, it just really struck me how ironic it is that we spend so much of our lives (at least I did lol) trying to avoid getting preggo, but now that I am ready, it’s not nearly as easy or quick as I had thought!

To be fair, we are just casually trying, but it’s been 2 years, and we usually do have sex around the time of ovulation. I did have a chemical when we first started trying, but nada since. Oh well, guess I just have to be patient!

On the bright side, I guess I can go ahead and order that box of wine I’ve been eyeing!
