Can a woman with a repeat history of miscarriage request progesterone inserts to prevent risk of  miscarriage? Once she receives a positive pregnancy result??? I have seen multiple women who have had repeat miscarriages. Get pregnant again, go on progesterone tablets & carry their baby to term. Can you just request this from your OBGYN??? How does this work?

You need to ask, but not all doctors will agree saying there isn’t enough research to “prove” it. I personally have to be on high dose progesterone the entire pregnancy. I miscarried my first because of it, then carried my daughter to term. There is only one doctor within 3 hours of us who will supplement the amount I need.

I have had RPL but bot due to progesterone. I think you cant just request something like that. I am sure the doctor has to determine you need it or your levels are low. I would think that you can ask the doctor to check your levels to see if you need it and go from there. Good luck to you.
