Has anyone dealt with a narcissistic friend?

What were the signs that your female friend was narcissist? Like what kind of things did they used to do? Thanks!

Speaks like they are smarter than everyone. Brags about being a true honest friend bc only “real friends are bitches” or said things like “I’m unapologetically honest and if that makes me a bitch so be it.” However she was just lazy and didn’t care about anyone’s feelings or opinions  bc she was the only person who was allowed to have them. After 5 years We’re no longer friends and I’m really happy i don’t have to deal with her shit all of the time bc it was a lot.

I have a narcissistic parent. Here's some traits that might translate to friendship.
-they are the best. The smartest, the funniest, whatever it is, they are the best. If someone else is the best they'll either put them down, or they'll try and one up them by being the most encouraging and most supportive. Anything to get the attention on them
-they are right. You are wrong. The end
-they can manipulate you into pleasing them. When you try and confront them, they'll "forget" their wrongdoings or make you feel like you're crazy and you're not remembering correctly. But they remember every single wrong you do to them
-they need to have control. If you start slipping from their grasp or they feel they aren't in control of the situation they will start to lose it and can lash out
That's what I can think of off the top of my head. True narcissists will never understand that they're narcissists 🤷‍♀️

Incredibly controlling. When you are no longer friends they may try to convince others of how awful you were. If you hold them accountable for their short comings they will be absolutely awful to you and twist things around so you’re the bad person. They will make fun of the ways in which you’re trying to be nice and will go off on you or others for not meeting their incredibly high standards but the going off is incredibly severe for the action

Only ever wanted to talk about herself. Would talk about her relationships and relationship problems but didn't want to talk about the other person's. Would flake on events. Showed up so late to a friend's wedding she missed the entire ceremony. Got really upset when another friend and I would talk about a common interest she wasn't interested in. Would make excuses to not come to events. Didn't participate in my bridal shower she was supposed to help plan (she had agreed when another friend asked her to help plan it). Didn't congratulate me on my wedding. Didn't ask how I was when she was the first person to know I broke my wrist. Never acknowledged my pregnancy or the birth of my son.

I'm no longer friends with her because when I told her how her actions made me feel she had the gall to tell me "this doesn't feel like love"....accountability doesn't feel like love apparently. 🙃
