I am a pharmacist in a hospital with positive patients and the occasional positive staff member. I am wondering if I should request special accommodations to be in an isolated space or work from home. The only problem is I am only 6wks pregnant and I am not ready to make an announcement that I am pregnant to a lot of people (I have a history of 4 miscarriages, no viable births to date). I am wondering what other people are doing. Thank you!

I would talk to my doctor and see what accommodations they recommend.  You’ll probably need a note from them anyway.

I’m not pregnant yet and am working from home because that’s what’s generally recommended if you can.
I totally get not wanting to announce that you’re pregnant. Can you contact your HR rep and let them know that you’re in the early weeks of pregnancy and would like to know what options you have? If so, I would go that route.

I work at a grocery store, wear a shield and gloves and I’m 6 weeks and haven’t told anyone. I’ve had two previous miscarriages. This is my third pregnancy in a year. I plan to tell them before my vacation at like 15 weeks lol. If someone notices before and asks them I’ll tell them but I’m not announcing. 
I’m also not worried about the virus so I feel fine.
