First Round of Clomid

Soooo cd28 here...

A little backstory, my cycles are pretty regular, usually between 27-30 days and I always spot for a few days before full on AF. Been trying for 8 months with opks, preseed, vitamins, frequent BDing. We’re TTC#2 and had no issues when I fell pregnant fairly quickly with #1 in March 2017 (had 2 MCs in 2015 and then prevented for a while).

Today, I’m cd28 with zero spotting, no cramps, negative pregnancy tests, and also no sign of AF. This is the first month in a LONG time that I didn’t use OPKs to track bc my Amazon order was backed up.

Anyway, I have had bloodwork and ultrasounds done and everything looks normal, but after expressing my concern my OB said I could try Clomid. Prescription is waiting for me, I just have to pick it up. 50mg cd3-7 and I am honestly pretty nervous about taking it. Mostly in fear that it won’t work. So here I am waiting for AF and hoping she hurries up at this point so I can start the pills.

Anyone else starting clomid for the first time this cycle, or is in a similar situation? I really would like a cycle buddy since I have no clue what to expect at all!
