Lets lock arms

Payton

Someone please explain to me how lifting this sweet 8lb 15oz babe feels like the easiest thing in the world while lifting those 2lb weights you see on the coffee table feels like the entire weight of the world. #notexaggerating

day one back and it taught me a couple of things...⠀

1. My muscles aren’t what they once were ⠀

2. Double scoops of energize are gonna need to be a thing ⠀

3. My arms are quitters and WAY heavier then I remember ⠀

4. And Ima need some more accountability partners to make sure I actually do the workout and I don’t spend the 30 minutes smothering my baby in kisses. ⠀

If you’re like me and you’re beginning your journey or recommitting to you and you’d like a workout partner, let’s lock arms and do it together!

I just stared my fitness journey again as well. I’ve not been blessed with a child yet, but hope to get this body into tip top shape, just in case it ever decides it’s gonna make one. Check out Chloe Ting’s website - she has daily programs you can follow and a new feature on her website where you can have friends join a challenge with you, for accountability. It’s pretty cool & all free. Feel free to reach out if you need support. Good luck on you journey and with that beautiful little baby! 😊

I’m a mommy of two and the heaviest Iv ever been. When my daughter turned one recently I promised myself I would get back in shape to set an example for her, i didn’t really take myself seriously until I had no clean clothes and went for my maternity clothes until I could complete my laundry after nap time and they were tight!! I quickly weighed myself and really took a hard look in our only mirror in the house (it’s a big one in our tiny bathroom so I never really see my reflection) and I was horrified at what I let myself become. My husband was dropping hints about being worried about my health and I though he was over exaggerating, then I put on my Fitbit and realized that my resting heart rate averaged at 85.... 85!!!! That was almost two weeks ago. I immediately began my weight loss journey. It’s been a week and Iv only lost a pound, but Iv already lost 3/4 of an inch off my waist. (I’m doing a combination of HIIT and Yoga and walking alternating and sometimes twice a day) plus keeping a keen eye on my nutrition. I’m still breastfeeding my baby so I was advised to not reduce calories to much. Still! I’m loving that there are other mamas in the community looking for encouragement and sharing their stories! I can’t wait to see you hit your next milestone!
