Questions for my first IUI

I’m having my first IUI on Wednesday. My follicles weren’t big enough so they wanted to give them a little extra time. The doctor told me to do my trigger shot 32-36 hours before my IUI. Is there any pros or cons to to aiming for closer to 32 hours verses 36?? How many days did your husband abstain from sex before IUI??? Did you work out the days before and the days following your IUI?? Sorry for all the questions. I didn’t think to ask them yesterday at my ultrasound and I don’t think my doctor would answer my message right away with it being a three day weekend.
