So I’m 39 weeks tomorrow, booked in with the midwife on Thursday, hoping she will do my membrane sweep then as I won’t see her until after 41 weeks otherwise because of this virus and them spreading out appointments 🙈

Anyway my question is ladies;

How many of you WERE’NT able to have a sweep with your first child because your cervix was to high to reach, (they tried on 3 separate occasions, over 3 weeks, and weren’t able until after my waters had broken, but contractions didn’t start) but then we’re able to have one with the second pregnancy easy peasy?

I know sweeps don’t always kick start labour, but it sucks when they can’t even attempt one to try 😩 I’m so ready now to meet my baby. Xxx
