Fear over needles and labor?
I am now pregnant with baby #1! I am honestly so happy and excited for everything from the pregnancy time to being a mom after. But I am terrified of the hospital delivery and needles throughout these months. I had a heart condition from birth, surgery very young, and many hospital and doctors visits. As a kid i got the “white coat syndrome” as my doctors called it. I can be totally fine but just walking into the doctors office my heart rate and blood pressure fly up. Once I see a needle I get so anxious and cry but have never passed out. I know I will do anything for my baby. Anyone else have fears like this and have any advice? Anyone have fears of labor and things that helped to get through it? I know I have many blood draws and the entire labor experience to go though. I thought maybe hearing from others with similar anxieties and being fine will make me feel better. Thank you!
