Ovulation peak during cycle

I am usually on for 7 days. This cycle started on the 21st and flow left on the 24th. I felt a little warm the following morning of the 25th so I took temp oral and it was 98.0, so I took and ovulation test and it was definitely positive but i was confused because technically we suppose to ovulate the following week after our periods but I ovulated during my cycle days. Then I opened my app to log and glow had a message saying they aren't going to change my ovulation days until they get more data. What do you guys think? I've never seen a video on ovulating been ovulation period.
