Hello. I have a daughter who is 14 and she's a freshman in high school. When I see moms post about their teenagers having sex and wanting to put a stop to it or restrict their teens, the comments are usually judging the mother. About two days ago a woman posted about disciplining her 17 y/o daughter and 18 y/o nephew who lived under her roof for being sexually active and the comments crucified her. I understand some of these parents can go about it the wrong way but seriously, is it bad to want your kids to wait until they are adults to do an adult act? I don't want my daughter having sex before she's fully developed. I know that if she wants to then she will but I wont make it easy for her to get the chance to. I feel like if you are 16, 17, 18 you have better things to do then worry about sex. I just get really scared of being seen as a helicopter mom or a strict mom.
