In the U.K. 37 weeks is considered full term, in the US it’s 39 weeks which is just stupid because no one can know for sure when you conceived so your date can easily be out by as much as 2 weeks. Years ago in the US 38-42 weeks was considered full term, I have no idea why they moved it a week. It’s not like babies being born at 37 or even 38 weeks are struggling to survive. My 37 weeker was perfectly fine.
