Would cleft lip/ palate be seen on ultrasound?

I’m 32 weeks and looking through my ultrasound pictures and I don’t really have a good one of his face. He always has his back to us so no good ultrasound photos. Would a cleft lip/ palate have been caught on an ultrasound/ my anatomy scan? Feeling anxious.

They should look for this when doing the anatomy scan, along with any other abnormalities.

My last pregnancy this was something the ultrasound couldn’t rule out they told me as my baby had his face into my back. I did 3 different ultrasounds to try and get the views and then my OB said let’s not keep worrying it’s probably not there and either way you’re having this baby. He was born perfectly fine. So it is something they look to rule out during the anatomy scan.

My ultimate tech said at a scan I had at 23w that if they could see the babies face and have clear view of the nose and lips they could usually tell even in a regular ultrasound. That’s one thing they looked for during the anatomy scan. I also asked about it bc I have a good friend who was born with it and Ik how much she’s had to go through bc of it. Neither of her children were born with it though.

It can be seen in a 3/4 d scan if baby cooperates.
