Spotting before period

I was just wondering if anyone has the same issue as me. For the past 4 months I have had brown spotting for 5 days before my period, then I get my period for around 5 days. I have an appointment with GP tomorrow to discuss as I was worried it could be low progesterone.

Anyone had this but still managed to get pregnant? Thank you in advanced.
