Lump on testicles

My fiancé found a lump a couple years ago and got it checked by his doctor. Doctor examined it and confirmed it’s not cancerous and nothing to worry about and to ignore it. Fast forward to now I am wondering if this could cause fertility issues? Such as low Sperm count or low mobility. Anyone know? We’re going on month 2 ttc but I have been off birth control over 2.5 years with no “accidents” ... I’m probably worrying for nothing but just thought I’d ask here if anyone knows anything about lumps on testicles.
