Don't waste your money on ProoV Ovulation tests

Brandy

I would like to share my review about Proov Ovulation tests and their inaccuracies and faulty test. They advertise as FDA approved and even for use by PCOS patients. Which led me to buy into the hype of all the good reviews and over look the bad ratings on Amazon. Check out Amazon to read other ladies 1 star reviews, you will see this was NOT an isolated experience. It is ridiculous that this keeps happening! The tests were awful for that second line not going away (on these tests, no second line would mean I ovulated and my progesterone level is rising) Every one of them had not just faint lines, but faint lines with color in them (suggesting I had not ovulated and had low progesterone). Side note: I purchased before my drs appt but ended up using them anyway. Not only were they inaccurate & but also faulty. I followed directions Exactly as specified and the test line never went away. 1 of the 7 tests didn't even progress across the window. For $40 for 7 tests thats ridiculous. They ALWAYS still showed a second pink line (it was faint but there) by Proov's standard means that I did not ovulate. Which is not true because I had extensive lab testing done and tracked BBT and opks. I'm also very disappointed in the fact that if you take 3 different photos of the same test within the correct time frame, each photo you upload to their App reader gives you a different Rating. I deleted them off the app but still have the photos. You will get a different Result Rating in their app if you use a flash or brightly lit bathroom versus a dim bathroom that will not washout the photo making the App reader even more inaccurate. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. For $5 more you can go online and order your own lab test to have your progesterone serum checked for $45 no insurance necessary by a qualified lab like Quest Diagnosics and Lab Corps.
