Can anyone give me some advice on placenta previa, I was diagnosed early on and was told it went away, well I’m now 36 weeks and I had a 36 week scan and it showed clear that the placenta is in the way again and it’s in the way of baby’s face and so is the cord. Unfortunately I only saw the midwife that day and she failed to tell me any information on what that would mean for me or if I was back with placenta previa, she just started rambling on saying “you’ll have another ultrasound next week” and then I was obviously confused on what was going on and she mentioned the cord and placenta, well while I was checking out the midwife walked back up to me and then said I won’t be needing another scan. I am honestly terrified because we can see how in the way the cord and placenta is and I feel like they aren’t telling me fully what I need to know and I feel very concerned about it. I feel like the midwife is down playing it and I need answers. I need to prepare. I’ve read on here that many women who have placenta previa the doctors and everyone kind of downplay it and aren’t very informative. I really need some advice.
