Could I be pregnant

I started my period on time like usual and it’s my second day today and I’m pretty heavy like normal and I even had cramps yesterday so nothing is really off except I’m always one to fall asleep early but last night I was up until 8 am still no sleep went on with my day and I have this little sharp pain in my right side idk if that’s relevant but it’s not bad pain I can easily ignore it and I’m sorta getting heat flashes I’m scared I’m pregnant because my mom and my sister both had their periods still when they were pregnant. My boyfriend and I are pretty careful but I guess there is always that chance.
