Birthing positions at hospital?

Has anyone delivered in a different position other than lying on your back at the hospital? 
I saw a video where lying on your back sometimes makes the baby’s head go through the pelvis difficult.. wondering if the hospital will deliver your baby in a different position?

I got on all fours at one point😂. My doctor said however I feel comfortable

My hospital had squat bars attached to the bed, standing supports, all fours, birthing tub, literally anything you could imagine they wanted to support your birthing goals. All hospitals are different, check yours out!

I was on all fours on the bed during labor with my second but I ended up delivering on my back.
With my third I labored on a birthing ball and the second I felt the need to push I got up and laid on my back in bed.

I tried a ton of positions but flat on my back ended up being what worked best.

They were prepared to let me deliver squatting because that’s how I was most comfortable, but then baby’s HR dropped and the midwife needed to break my waters and get him out immediately.

Many hospitals support whatever position the mom finds most comfortable and productive. An OB at our hospital laid on the floor under a bed with a flashlight because the mom was most comfortable with low lighting sitting on a birthing stool with her arms and head resting on the bed. Not sure how many doctors would do this - he’s a uniquely awesome guy. 
You can learn a lot about a hospital’s birthing philosophy by looking at their website because they’ll want to promote their support of mothers and variety. One local hospital only promotes the new paint, so we don’t go there.

You can get in whatever position you feel comfortable, even standing and squatting so long as you aren’t having to be monitored or hooked up to anything. 
Because of those bloody things that go over your belly i was unable to change positions as every time I tried they would loose the heart beat, so I ended up on my back, pushed for 3 hours before someone came in and checked me, then said “oh that’s why your struggling, he’s back to back, we will have to assist you” 
So I had the forceps in the end. 
But with back to back babies, if to can squat or get on your knees it’s a lot easier to get baby out, so I knew what my body needed but I wasn’t able to because of monitoring 😩 
You should put it in your birthing plan what positions you would like to try xxx
