I just thought PCOS was my issue.

Yesterday my husband and I had our first appointment with a fertility specialist. We did blood work, breast exam, pap smear, and a transvaginal ultrasound.

I went in knowing I have PCOS, I was diagnosed at 18. But I've never really had an issue getting pregnant it's always been an issue staying pregnant.

While my dr was doing the ultrasound he noticed something odd. Upon further looking it was determined thatI most likely have a sub septate uterus. Which is a condition you have from birth and can cause multiple miscarriages. I've had 5 all together.

In a few weeks I will go in for a laparoscopy/hysteroscopy to correct the septum in my uterus. And then hopefully we will be on the right path to having our little one.
