Second miscarriage in 2 months??

Question

My hcg levels are 81 (very low). They thought it was left over from my miscarriage 6-7 weeks ago. But I showed my doctor pregnancy tests from last week to this week and they are getting darker. 
I have been spotting on and off since last Wednesday (which is when I took that top test). 
I can’t get in for an ultrasound until next Thursday.  
Does anyone have any insight? 
Longest drawn out miscarriage or is there any hope.  
I’ve been in limbo for a week already.

I would keep getting HCG blood draws to see if your HCG is doubling every 48-72 hrs. "Low" is kind of ambiguous since women start at a huge range of HCG numbers. Ultrasound early might not show enough embryo wise but could indicate a hemorrhage. But the HCG is going to be your best indicator of miscarriage or ectopic right now.

Also, is the spotting red? Brown? Pink? Clots? Have cramping?
