We may rent the home (which we means we rent the land we live on too) but we still have a say in who does what on it and no matter how many times we tell my father in law to not smoke on the property he won’t listen. I am pregnant and i hate second hand smoke and I also have asthma and it bothers my allergies. He can smoke in his home or in his yard but he still won’t listen to us when we tell him to stop Smoking on our property. Also he throws the cigarettes buds on the ground and I HATE that. SMOKE ON YOUR OWN PROPERTY. We rent the trailer so we also rent the land it’s on and it’s our job to keep it clean and second hand smoke is bad especially if you’re pregnant. For the love of god respect someone’s property/home and don’t do something they tell you not to do while there. When our son is born I will post a huge sign that states for no one to smoke on the property if I have to. I don’t come into their house and do things they don’t like so the least they can do is wait until they’re away from my home and yard to smoke 🤬🤬
