My little man decided to arrive on 5/29/2020. He was born at 7lbs9oz 20inches long and so hairy! My water broke at 1PM at 37 weeks and 5 days as I was laying down I felt a pop and a gush. Awesome experience I didnt get with my 1st daughter since it broke during pushing. I immediately freak out and let my SO know. We drop off our daughter to my sister's and get to the hospital by 145. I was still leaking so I was checked and was already 4/5 centimeters dilated by the time we got to the room. Once moved to a labor and delivery room the pain increased fast. Thanks to covid we had to wear masks while medical personnel were in the room so I was extremely hot and irritated. My pain is bad so I caved and got something for the pain and to relax in my IV (didnt want the epidural just because I'm not great with needles) at around 445. After that I was feeling less pain it all happened so fast I was at 9cm then and feeling extreme pressure. The doctor came in and according to my SO they told me to push and I pushed hard enough his head came out. Apparently too quickly and causing a 2nd degree tear at the end. Everyone was yelling different things to me and I got overwhelmed. I just pushed and pushed and he was out at 5:08pm the same day. I'm grateful for a quick labor and blessed that hes here and healthy. I miss my older baby and cant wait to go home.
