isolating?

are you guys isolating since your pregnant? im talking like no family visits from anyone outside of your house no stores...

I was isolating for a few months, but now I have started seeing family and friends and going to a couple stores maybe once a week. My mental health was really suffering. I always wear a mask and make sure to wash up really well. When seeing family and friends we are always outside, six feet apart. A couple week before my due date my husband and I will be isolating again though, because I don’t want to risk getting covid while in labor and have to be separated from the baby. I am also leaning towards having visitors when baby arrives, as long as people wash really well and wear a mask. I don’t want to live my life in fear or in isolation and I know I will need the support when the baby comes. This virus isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, so I am going to learn to live with it but also make sure to take precautions.

No, I still go to work(essential), and grocery shopping, appointments etc... I do visit family/friends as well. My state isn't on lock down anymore, it reopened may 1st.

My state isn’t even open yet to yes, we are isolating for the most part. However I’m still going to doctors appointments twice a month and my husband does the grocery shopping every ten days or so. We will keep this up until baby comes to minimize exposure as my hospital will not let him in if I test positive at delivery

Our state has opened back up but even before I would still visit my mom. Now that I have to go back to work Tuesday as an essential worker cause I'm in direct care and work for the state but light duty I may not go see her as much. They had me off with pay as long as the city and state was shutdown but everything's changing now. I really hate to go back at this time but it's nothing I can do. I still had to go to the grocery store and appointments though before but I'd always wear a mask and gloves.

I have to work sadly, but two weeks before my due date I will be self quarantining. And I don’t think I’ll be letting people come visit the baby untill October/November.

Yes! I’m in Canada, and we have been in isolation (hubby and little toddler) since March. Working from home, no family/outside visits etc... the ONLY place I’ve gone is to the grocery store and prenatal appointments, and I’ve worn a mask every time! Things are starting to open back up where we are but we’re staying with isolation as our cases haven’t gone down. They’re pretty dormant. Sadly, its making it tricky for figuring out who is going to come watch our little one when D-Day arrives! Ugh. Hate ALL this quarantine stuff.

I was at the beginning of the pandemic and so was family/friends. Since we been "isolating" (except runs for groceries, and no one is an essential worker) we've been coming together slowly the past couple weeks.
