Could you tell it was coming? Was it a surprise? Did you have to think about your answer? Did you almost say no? 
I am so lost. I love my boyfriend very much. But so much has happened. He recently asked my son and then his son if they'd be OK with us getting married. I'm sure it is happening soon as he made big plans for us to go out on Friday.

I knew because my SIL is a bad liar 🤣 And it was Obvious she was lying because she said we were going to a Disney on ice show on Christmas Day 💀 AND at a place with no arena big enough for that🤣 (I’ve been to a show before)

I didn’t know. He told me he couldn’t afford to get a ring (he had already bought it). I was surprised. I didn’t have to think about it, I know I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. We have been married for almost 2 years now

I didn't actually know . I knew something was up because he was acting weird 3 weeks before Christmas.also he didn't want me to go to a certain area bookshelf in his room because that's where he was hiding the ring. he told me after he proposed where the ring was at.

I knew because my husband is bad at keeping secrets lol. I figured it out when $400 was gone from our account (he claimed it was for a part we needed to replace in his truck, which he had previously priced out at that cost so admittedly it was a good excuse) and then he asked me my ring size saying he was getting my promise ring fixed, which the band had in fact snapped a few months prior and it was also a plausible excuse.
But then he said he wanted to take me out that night. We were going to Chilis (my absolute favorite restaurant - I’m a cheap date lol) and he was just being so off. He saw I had texted my friend that I thought he was going to propose and shut that down quick, giving me the previously stated excused. I felt like a total idiot lol. We’re sitting in the booth and he asks to switch sides with me, says it was too tight for him. 
When we switch, he had left a little black velvet box in the seat. We had used it in a prank on his mom before, so I thought he was pranking me. I rolled my eyes and picked it up. Like “Oh, haha, make fun of me for jumping to conclusions” and I open it expecting to see the cheap Claire’s ring we used in the prank. Instead I found a beautiful ring he had bought that day. ❤️ $400 at a pawn shop lol, it was beautiful and I loved it. We got a free molten cake at Chili’s as congratulations lol!

So I kind of knew because he was asking me what kind of rings I liked one night after a few drinks. But that was November and he didn’t propose until July so obviously I was very surprised in the moment. 
I would have said yes long before he asked. I knew I was going to marry him right from the very beginning of our relationship.

I could tell it was coming because he said he was going out after work and he never does that. The next day I was using his phone and he was on my butt the whole time trying to take it from me, but I didn’t get a bad vibe? If that makes any sense. 
That night our family was over and Santa brought all the kids and myself a gift and as I was opening I found the ring in the gift bag, turned around and he was on his knee. I sobbed and almost fainted. Lol.

I was surprised. I was okay with never being married as long as I was with him. I’ve known him since I was 12 and dated since 17. I knew his history and his skepticism around marriage so I was over joyed when he asked because he put that behind him because he had trusted me and loved me. We broke walls down for each other so I’ll always be amazed at how far he and I have come from our upbringing 😏❤️

I knew it was coming because we picked out the ring together & we’d had conversations about how I didn’t want a big flashy public proposal so I was pretty sure he was going to propose the same day he picked up the ring after we had it sized. 
He kind of teased me with it all day long & then when we went to bed that night he turned to me in the dark & said the sweetest most romantic little speech & then the actual proposal, I said yes instantly, no hesitation or doubts for me (we’d been dating about 8 months but I pretty much knew I wanted to marry him @ only 2 months together) He put the ring into the palm of my hand & I carefully slipped it on & then ran into the bathroom to turn on the light to see it sparkle :) 
We’ll have been together 7 years, married for 6 in November & I still have no doubts about our marriage, he’s my best friend & whatever life throws at us we work through it together

We were laying down watching tv had sex after that we just laid there holding each other then he says we should get married I giggled and said your funny (not in a rude way he’s more like a player when it comes to females ) so I was not expecting it he says what you don’t wanna marry me i said yes I do it just made me feel so special out of all the females he chose me 🙂

We talked about marriage but I didnt assume an engagement was coming. He woke me up at 4 am from feeding our son and hid it under a pillow, asked me to gran the bottle under the pillow and I popped up just said yes
