Had a feeling the other day...

It’s our first month using OPKs and really trying, since at this point, it won’t mess up my last semester of grad school/student teaching. Had my IUD out in February, and gave my body some time to adjust.

Got my positive opk on May 19th, so my husband and I did the deed and put in some “overtime”. My period is (was?) supposed to come this week, and I’ve been having this really weird cramping for the past few days. Also haven’t been as irritable as i usually am, and no acne. So I took a test yesterday, at 10DPO, and got this super-squinter:

Didn’t want to get my hopes up, but also couldn’t contain myself, so I took a First Response a few hours later:

😍 Buuuuut my husband didn’t believe it because it was so light (even after googling), so I took another Pregmate Test this morning:

Of course it’s darker than yesterday, but it was still light, so he went and bought a ClearBlue digital/rapid combo pack... aaaaand now he’s calling me preggy, baby mama, preggo, and rubbing my belly 😂🥰 He’s been hoping I’d be ready for over a year now, and his baby fever is almost worse than mine has been! Needless to say, we are both so excited and can’t wait to meet this little babe!

Hoping for a very sticky baby and a healthy nine months!! Can’t tell too many people right now, and all I want to do is shout from the rooftops 😂😍🤰🏼
