I would only be worried about a UTI if you have a history of getting them.. 5-10 min of laying down after sex isn’t going to give you a UTI! Just pee after you lay and wash up and you should be good to go!

A couple minutes.  I let my husband go into our bathroom first and I lay there until he's done. I know our isn't necessary, but if in some way it helps, then why not?  👍✨♥️

There is no reason to lay. No research shows it helps. Sperm will get where it needs to quickly. If you lay you can get a UTI.
